LTA | Murray roars into fourth round at Wimbledon

It means us Brits can all focus our attentions on getting behind the last remaining Brit at Wimbledon.

    C'mon Andyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't support that immature twunt. Boring baseliner that relies on counter-punching and mistakes from others. He does nothing for me, not surprising you'd like to "get behind him" though.

        I shall be supporting him.

Whatever his supposed failings, he's been consistently near the top of the rankings for a while, and you don't get their by being rubbish. It would be nice to see him step up to the next level and actually win a grand slam, and if that is going to happen then it would be great to see it happen on home soil.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Good on yer. I agree, he is hardly Mr Charisma, but then again that is not why I want him to win. He is representing Britain, so that will do for me!

Maybe when he has won a Slam, some of the more Xenophobic Little Englander types will find him less "immature"? Who knows?

<FFS I've said this before... How many times must I keep saying it>
            He is NOT representing Britain!!
He only represents Britain in the Davis Cup and the Olympics

He is British but he is playing for Andy Murray..... and a few hundred grand!!!

This is nothing against Andy Murray (even though he is a graceless twunt) Tim Henman didn't represent England or Britain either.....

There is no British Team in the Grand Slams (or most other professional tennis tournaments)

PS That doesn't stop you or any one supporting him if you want to! I will "support" Fed cos he is boht a brilliant player and a true sportsman.

Why not choose someone to support based on the way in which they carry themselves, or the way in which they play the game? Sometimes you have to be big enough to admit that even though someone is from the same geographical region as you on this planet, he is, nevertheless a twat.

Nope. Will never like him as he represents nothing to which I can relate.

Oh stop splitting hairs Mr Pedantic. He is a British player, the last one still in contention, and the country could do with having a homegrown male player winning its most prestigious Tennis tournament for the first time in over 70 years...FFS!!

Well not all of us are comfortable having Rafael Nadal duvet sets. But whatever floats your boat.

Care to explain just what you base his being "a twat" on? Oh that's right, he didn't paint a St George's Cross on his face during Euro 2004!!
