Widest choice of stock markets traded, lowest cost, nicest GUI.
Are you going to trade bonds, gilts, ETF/ETC, PIBS, covered warrants, Open ended / closed ended investment trusts...

I would ignore the arrogant know it alls personally. It's quite possible to invest for the long term and make money without knowing what all of
means, although it is worth finding out. Perhaps join up somewhere they are likely to offer helpful advice? Mainly just basic shares (BP for example) and would like to play around with CFDs and simple spreadbets. I've been using bullbearings for years and am a member of the Motley fool.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment
