      I just hate it when politicians attempt to put the lifetime cost of a project in the same context as the yearly deficit amount - although this article didn't do that explicitly.

      How many times did we hear prior to the election (mostly from LibDembs) "The deficit is £160bn. We can save £100bn from scrapping trident." - neglecting to mention that trident is over 25 years, starting from 2020.
