There was someone in our office whe left her phone playing a very loud version of the Muppet song on her desk. Some how it always managed to slide off her desk into the waste bin. It stopped happening

Every time she gets loud...... Trust me it'll Work Wonders....

(Obviously this doesn't make you very popular with her.... but Hey you're used to that!)
LOL! Sure I've come across you on the quiet carriage. Oh, perhaps not - you didn't start it with an "ummm, excuse me..." !

If I were you I would not do anything that might antagonise the female of the species. Working alongside them is probably about as "up close and personal" as you get to females whose surname is not jpeg!
That said, just what calibre of woman wishes to eke out an existence as a traffic bollard is anyone's guess!

A new contractor started on Monday placed on the desk next to mine. Were on the edge of a droning call centre and the noise is not great if you are developing or putting together documentation, but she has just bought it to a new level.

Her ******* mobile keeps going off with 'Don't you think your girlfriend is hot like me?' and instead of walking off to take a quite obvious personal call she's like 'oh I know, I know, I know maa haa haa' at the top of her voice. Then as part of her work she is organizing and running conference calls with more 'i know, I know, I know maa haa haa'

I had to move on Monday to finish a document.

I almost picked her phone up and chucked it out of the window!!! I can't afford another visit to HR. I need suggestions people!!!???!!!
Oooh, 'accidentally' knock her phone off the desk and stand on it?

Drop it in a cup of coffee?

Tell her to shut the **** up?

              Edited; removal of superfluous verbiage.

Oh my! You should see the chap sitting next to me today!!!!!

Bald, fat, sweating, swearing and wearing a rude t.shirt.

Looks like he wants to hit me.

Comes back from the pub drunk, gets hauled off to HR every other day, I think he is a bit of a psycho!

Sounds like the type of bloke who would break down in tears before doing that

I have had that problem countless times and always solved it with Windows Media Player, some earphones and the St Matthew Passion.

Normally yes, but Im mostly writing documentation and I find that difficult to do when playing music.
