        Not so surprising from some of the companies I've worked for.

        Quite often I've been on a project where some bod found out there was a database somewhere with all sorts of goodies on it and suggested we do this or that, or link it to something else, just because it was possible.

        Whether it's legal or not, or whether the customers would be happy, doesn't always come into it...
