Actually we found a great bar on the corner of Nana Plaza, watching all the randoms was hilarious - they also did the best fishcakes I've ever tasted!!
Don't forget the large bottles of Singha - complete with coolers...
I always hang out in the bars on Sukhumvit Soi sip et near the hotel before heading off to the weekend market or Chaing Mai.
There used to be an interesting set of bars on the corner up by Soi Cowboy, but it all got knocked down a few years ago and they put a massive skyscraper there instead!
Yep, everytime I've been we've stayed on Sukhumvit Road, close to everything but not too close!
Amsterdam's full of rat tulip too, seeing as the binmen have been on strike for a couple of weeks and the rubbish is piling up in the streets; in some parts of the city centre there are stinking walls of litter 2 metres high. Rats and mice are loving it all.
PS, something wrong here because I really didn't type 'binmen' twice but if I make the screen about 70% of full size I see it twice.
