Grocer Heath was a poor PM but at least he was actually elected, and had a few inter-personal skills.
How boring, this is totally irrelevant.

I know this would probably end his political career, just as the Queen would cause a crisis if she decided to do some of the things she technically could, but being honest, he already has ended his political life so he has nothing to lose.
      Interesting question.

I think he can and what is worse he could keep doing it.

It would put the Queen into the difficult position of having to stop him, but I think she can if she has to, I'll need to check.

UPDATE: The Queen does have the power to dismiss the Prime Minister. She also has the power to refuse a further dissolution of Parliament and let them dismiss him/her which is her more likely course of action in the event of a rogue Prime Minister.

But there is no need to go over the top at this stage, Gordon Brown is actually doing things by the book by sitting tight at the moment.
