That would be the plan, yes. Not long now.

      That rules UK then.

Yes. Good. I don't want a country that has gone close to bankruptcy twice in my lifetime (Labour 1979, 2010) ruining the money in my pocket. Britain does not have the fiscal discipline to join a currency that should actually have been restricted to Germany, Holland and a few others in a sort of modern version of the Hanseatic league.

You know, as a British citizen I'm neutral about the Euro but as a resident of a Euroland country I'd say no because Euroland already has enough fiscal basket cases to deal with.

You see the other big risk is five years from now. A conservative government, hated because of the painful cuts it will have to make, gets thrown out for a ‘New Improved Labour’ government, led by some smiling, charming chappy who says ‘we’ve changed and things can only get better’, which then goes and squanders it all over again on all sorts of unprofitable shytte.

Britain cannot be a fiscally stable country as long as the Labour party remain liable to win power.

And so the cycle begins again.

Labour shag the country, the Conservatives rebuild.

It's happened before(on numerous occasions) and it'll happen again.

                  It's the circle......

                    Aye.

I'm genuine when I say I think that they should be put on trial along with those that have collaborated with them.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
