Its all sort of androgynous and apple™, looking squashed on my old 1024x768 laptop resolution.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Not sure I like the space above the comments, lots of scrolling.

I think the top level page, and the thread list is okay. But the forum view is very cluttered, and makes the important text (i.e. the subjects) a bit hard to read.

          absolute tulip.

It renders all over the show, things on top of each other, narrow fields.

          absolute tulip.

What's the "Tag Cloud" (currently pointing to NickFitz's "monday links")

At the very least the icons at the top could do with shrinking so that they don't wrap to a new line.

An can we do attachments or not? Attachments are enabled in the profile section.

Not a very good use of space. Why all those huge, useless icons at the top? They don't make me want to click on them.

I'd prefer more subtle icons. It all looks like it is trying to be too clever and has come out looking a but of a mess to be frank.

I'm sure Nick has done a sterling job from a techincal point of view, but it lacks the input of a UI designer IMHO.

When you create a new thread there's field in which you can specify subject "tags" against the thread. The tag cloud depicts the popular tags by virtue of relative size compared to the less popular tags.

Some forums allow you to apply tags to existing threads, but I can't see a way of doing that on here.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

Okay. There's an Add/Edit Tags facility located near the bottom of the screen.
