The more you look at your post-count the slower it increments.

Like a kettle really, boils in that case, not increments, unless you're measuring the temperature of course, in that case it would increment, only slowly - coz you're watching it.

however this may not be true - as if you are looking at it you may be absorbing more photons and thus more energy then if you were not as such by the mere act of looking (or observing) you are altering the system.
