No stuff the money. My pride is hurt. Its all I have left now the missus has stripped away everything else.
Anyway, they terminated me on the same day I had off, before even speaking to me. Plus, someone I recommended - they've hired!!!!!!!!!
Anyway passed the stuff on to a solicitor. £50+ Vat to have a look. So piece of mind. Thanks Perl.

I can see you are disappointed.
But the point is, by sueing the agents you are shooting the messenger.
What is it that you wish to achieve by doing so?
Do you think that you will achieve your aim?

I think what he wants to achieve is for his contract to be honoured and the only way to do that is to involve a solicitor!
Lets be honest here...we arent in the contracting game for the benefit of the clients but for our own benefit. If someone f*cks you around then there should be serious consequences for those actions (just as there should be if you **** the client around).
There are some of you who would bend over an apple cart and take everything up the arse...and then there are those who wont just bend over but are prepared to stand up and have their contracts honoured.
Which one are you Tim?

That's a bit like asking what the Antelope gets in return for having its blood sucked by the Mosquito.Originally posted by PerlOfWisdomWhat do they get paid for?

I think that you should give this a go. It doesnt cost much and it may just stimulate the agency into doing something about it. There is no doubt (certainly from our own contracts point of view) that when this sort of thing happens the contract is being broken. Very few contractors are prepared to take it on for the reasons that have been given so far.Originally posted by Contractorhttps://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp

Avoid advice from people like Denny who clearly has his own agenda, which is that he is a social inadequate who deeply resents the fact that he cannot communicate well enough to sell his own services. This is why he is so obsessed with"proving points" to agencies and to a lesser extent clients.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

Actually...I think Denny is one of the few people who has offered constructive advice...or is this more because you are the agent involved Dodgy?
