I'll do it for £7.00Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -

Then they are stupid if they are doing that. 90% of something is better than 100% of nothing. Besides, once you've lost 2 or 3 months at even a couple of hundred quid a day, you'll never make that up.Originally posted by joey122 View PostI see a number of posts saying that they are waiting for rates to improve...

Same old question...
You hold out for the rate that you/the agent/client is happy with.
Be careful not to leave yourself on the bench for the sake of a few grand a year, that is just STUPID.Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.Comment

My first ever contract, back in 1986 I think it was, was for GBP5.50 an hour. No interview, just turn up at midnight tomorrow, introduce yourself to the security guard and off you go.Originally posted by zeitghost£7.50/hr.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
