Yeah, opens the kitchen window when cooking. Keeps heaters in the porch as well and in the kid's room. Uses a hot water bottle as well. She's sweating good when she get's to bed.

We used to have a variant on that problem with the air-conditioning. The ex-mrs HAB didn't do it; she wasn't that silly. However, when we had visitors from the UK they would keep leaving doors and windows open while leaving the a/c running. Poor little a/c was doing it's wot-nots in trying to cool and dehumidify the whole of a tropical island and driving up HAB's 'leccy bill in the process.
