I just googled Doc Johnson - rather NSFW.
    Was that a Freudian slip?

Blimey, that was unexpected. I doubt Dr Samuel Johnson would have approved though he might have found some new words for his dictionary.

started about 5 years ago collecting the first year of print of Mickey Mouse Weekly (1936) - have about 30 of them now and managed to get No1 last year (but it wasnt cheap).

dont bother with any of the later stuff although they stopped printing when the war started so may limit myself to pre war editions at some point and pick up some of the 37 copies

I've got a number of 1st and 2nd edition western books ranging from about 1890 to 1920, nothing older than that though.

As it happens I have. It was given to me as a leaving present from a long term contract some years ago. One day I might get round to reading it.

I got the original Precepts of Ptah-hotep.

                  Which was nice.

Got a small book of Psalms 1624, some bit later thing in praise of Charles II and an early Victorian travel book. Can't give any details as up in attic somewhere.
