Perhaps I should have just taken professional advise. Then looking at my pension which is in -ve territory perhaps not ...

Excellent, so instead of a low cost tracker returning me 31% I can pay a very expensive fund manager or IFA and get 21%!

Exactly. It's bloody disgraceful that posters on a contracting forum should boast of their high daily rates, disposable income, champagne lifestyles and their investments. Poor bloody show!!!

I dunno, I put in about that much as well in shares and some of my funds are probably up 21% as well.
