Jeeze, she's 5'10 and 12 st 5. Thats not overweight, thats a healthy weight. She's size 16, not 60.

It's all about proportion. The whole dress size thing is misleading and a bit dangerous IMO.

On a 5'10" frame 12 1/2 stone is at the top end of the "normal" BMI range. On a 5'4" frame it would be clinically obese.

Actually at 5'10, 12 1/2 stone is overweight for a woman, the top end of 'normal' on the bmi range for 5'10 is usually around 11st (bmi charts vary one from another).

Picking up on some of the photos she evidently is conscious of her weight despite her arguments to the contrary. In one photo she's stood with her arm over her stomach (all other contestants are resting their hands on their hips), in all photos she's wearing a sarong (every other contestant is in a bikini).

Either way she *is* overweight, and more markedly so when shown in contrast to the other competitors...

Is Anni Friesinger overweight? She's about 10 stone and 5ft8. Do a google image search to find out who she is. Many female athletes are 5ft10 and 12 stone, because that's about the ideal size for a sprinter or sprint speed skater.

BMI is no use for individuals. It was always, and is intended for statistical use in measuring whole populations. The fact that insurers use it in calculating premiums is more evidence that the financial industry is seriously confused about the nature of risk and probability, which are two very different things.

In my experience size 16ers are cr*p on top. Not enough strength or stamina. And as for sitting on your face

My current wife size 8-10 is just perfect. Doesn't diet, doesn't gym, just sh*gs me relentless (only me I hope)
