Give him this to think about.
When his age equals your birth year, your age will be his birth year (excluding century's).
E.g. If you were born in 1970 and he in 1995, when he's 70, you'll be 95.Comment

Think of a number.
Double it.
Add 4
Divide by 2.
Multiply by 3.
Add all the digits in the number together.
Divide by three.
Close your eyes.

Add X (where X is even and magnitude can depend on person doing it)
Half it
Take away number you first thought of
answer is X/2
You can even show a slightly older child the algebra to explain it and because they are interested they usually understand it
