    Effectively this means that awarding £100 mln to foreign company can be much more expensive than awarding £200 mln to local.

    Note - this isn't protectionism, this is a fairly simple cost calculation.
    Next you'll be saying it's better to train youngsters up and give them a future rather than using FTV
