My application for permanent residency in Canada arrived in Nova Scotia this morning.

Only three years to go and I can say goodbye to the UK. Hopefully in that time I can work out how to tell the in-laws and parents that we're moving......

But by then, the Conservatives will have sorted everything out here.

First application was rejected because my work history was too vague, so I had to provide more details about everything that I've done that fell into the right skills category.

Now I just need to get the rest of the paperwork sorted and sent off.
