    About Roy:

Roy W. Spencer received his Ph.D. in meteorology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. Before becoming a Principal Research Scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2001, he was a Senior Scientist for Climate Studies at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, where he and Dr. John Christy received NASA’s Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for their global temperature monitoring work with satellites. Dr. Spencer’s work with NASA continues as the U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite. He has provided congressional testimony several times on the subject of global warming.

Dr. Spencer’s research has been entirely supported by U.S. government agencies: NASA, NOAA, and DOE. He has never been asked by any oil company to perform any kind of service. Not even Exxon-Mobil.

    About Global Warming:

“Global warming” refers to the global-average temperature increase that has been observed over the last one hundred years or more. But to many politicians and the public, the term carries the implication that mankind is responsible for that warming. This website describes evidence from my group’s government-funded research that suggests global warming is mostly natural, and that the climate system is quite insensitive to humanity’s greenhouse gas emissions and aerosol pollution.

Believe it or not, very little research has ever been funded to search for natural mechanisms of warming…it has simply been assumed that global warming is manmade. This assumption is rather easy for scientists since we do not have enough accurate global data for a long enough period of time to see whether there are natural warming mechanisms at work.

    I fank you.

A quick google on this joker also shows that he rejects the theory of evolution and supports intelligent design. Which casts complete doubt on his motivation and anything he says, in my book.

here's an example of his nonsense:

Ad Hominem attacks: A Latin phrase which has come to mean attacking your opponent, as opposed to attacking their arguments. Also Demonizing the “enemy”: Making individuals from the opposing nation, from a different ethnic group, or those who support the opposing viewpoint appear to be subhuman.
“You know, 15 percent of people believe the moon landing was staged on some movie lot and a somewhat smaller number still believe the Earth is flat. They get together on Saturday night and party with the global-warming deniers.” (October 24, 2006, Seattle University)

You obviously didn't actually understand what he is saying there.

You really are a cretin aren't you?

Read it again a bit more carefully.

To be honest I stopped at the point:

"I came to the realization that intelligent design, as a theory of origins, is no more religious, and no less scientific, than evolutionism. "

now if you weren't in the top 5 CUK retards with SB, you'd realise that as complete twuntish nonsense.

You guys make me laugh. You trot out every single nutter from every dodgy institution going (like this Intelligent Design bloke from the University of Alabama, which is equivalent in the States to soemthing like Wolverhampton Poly) and think that constitutes overwhelming evidence for your case.

Your stupidity and mulishness truly knows no bounds and is really tedious. Goto 5

True evolution, in the macro-sense, has never been observed, only inferred.
What he is talking about here is speciation i.e. the creation of new species that are incapable of interbreeding, and it has in fact been observed in experiments. So the core of his argument, that believing the theory of evolution creates new species requires an act of faith, is wrong.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

NASA seems to be full of "nutters":

Dr. John S. Theon, the former supervisor of James Hansen, NASA’s vocal man-made global warming fears soothsayer, has now publicly declared himself a skeptic and declared that Hansen “embarrassed NASA” with his alarming climate claims and said Hansen was “was never muzzled.”

Why did you pick the minority view of Senator Inhofe from that site?
That's a little selective isn't it, when the committee, whose site that is, boradly agrees with AGW.

Why are you reduced to such desperate measures as selective picking of a minority point of view?

The quote was from James Hansen's boss at NASA Dr John Theon not Inhofe, it was posted on his website

ok but what about the Washington Times.
