    Not much traffic at 3am But yes, that is the downside. Easily do-able with 2 or more drivers though.

    Alternatively the sleeper train goes from Euston to Aviemore, leave at 11pm to get in nice and refreshed at 7am. £120 return, although you lose the economies of scale with more than more person.

    Think outside the box people! This isn't just theoretical, I do this regularly and it is a genuinely realistic proposition for a cheap weekend's skiing.
