    Another vote for O2.

Been with them for several years for my mobile and about a year for broadband and no complaints from me.

Their broadband support is 24Hrs as well which was handy when they had an outage one evening, post midnight, and I called them for support.

Most people seem to like them. What's the coverage like for remote areas, like scottish highlands etc? Tho' I'm in South East, I do go hill walking alot and when I was with T Mobile they were useless outside major cities...

Sorry, don't know as haven't been anywhere which qualifies as remote.

One point though, the rapid rise in data usage by users due to the iPhone has caused congestion issues on the network as it has, at certain times, been unable to cope.

I haven't experienced this myself but remember seeing an article about this so may be worth investigating if you are a heavy data user to determine the severity of the issue.

However, I believe this scenario is not unique to O2.

Another vote from me for Orange. Not had a problem with them ever! And when my blackberry went bonkers, they did a doorstep swap the next day for me

Last time I rang t-mobile, I spoke to an incredibly helpful Scottish guy.

Maybe some do a different call centre for business clients?

                    Avoid - like the plague - 3.
                    • Tulipty call centre, populated by idiots who I suspect are minimum wage.
                    • Poor UK coverage in remote areas
                    • In some parts of Greenwich (e.g., my place) the reception's pretty poor too (converted building).
