I'm an atheist and I really hate quoting the bible, but:

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
I personally regard everything from a visit to the Louvre to a good meal as "treasures in heaven", which I will have forever.

well you have nothing else to quote except your own opinions I guess. Funny how atheists are so reliant on Christianity to make any kind of point.

When I saw the TV ad for a smoker's "Quit Kit" I thought: "You can't quit quicker than a Quit-kit quitter", but it turned out to be impossible to say.

nor have I understood why some people require huge kitchens when their cooking consists of mainly ready made meals and takeaways

I should regret the fact I used some of what would have been a hefty deposit on a nice on traveling and a chefs diploma. I do spend a large amount of my income on fine food and wine, but I do not regret any of this.

You have to enjoy life, maybe save a little to also enjoy retirement, but don't hold back.

Agreed. That is impossible to say.

That really gets on my nerves and I know of one two many people who have done that.
