I've got a Hotpoint dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer all bought 10 years ago when we moved house and all are still going strong.
I was going to replace each with an expensive swanky German brand as they failed but no need.
On the basis that Miele products cost 3x as much they'd have to last 30 years to get the same value, if you're over 50 I'd say it's more cost effective to get a Hotpoint.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I had an indesit which was rubbish, noisey, pots would come out dirty sometimes (even on max wash) and never fully dry. I was glad when It broke tbh.
Bought a Hotpoint which is almost silent, always clean always dry.Comment
