Too complicated.

Just have the keyboard part of the 'laptop' as a fancy docking station, all the real tech would be in the detachable touchscreen part.

leave all the tech in the body of the laptop.
When the screen is detached, video and audio are transmitted wirelessly to the touchscreen.
Obviously would only work within a certain range, but it would enable you to detach your laptop screen and pass it around or use it by itself whilst sat on the couch.
You still get all the hardware benefits of a proper computer but without having to lug it around with you heating up your balls

I've got one that still works, the 5mx although the stylus won't stay in plus an Organiser that still works That was the height of technology when I bought it...

I'm sure there'll be a website along soon that tells you what you need to disable for the Psion to have the feature set of the iPad.
