I'll speak with a mate of mine who frequents Bedford more often than I do. Am not sure if the Bear is still a green king pub, but I'll be Bedford way this week and can check it out.

Have you actually tried getting a train on this line recently ?
Getting back to normal now, but has been 3 months of sheer hell. Apparently.
Luckily I'm home based now.

Thankfully I have not - however, given my frustration with the service when it was suppoesd to be running "normally" I am soooo gratefully I have avoided it! It's a disgrace!!

I am begining to think a) St Albans would be a safer location to meet up and b) I will go by car.......!
