    Unmissable gadgets

Of all the gadgets that clutter our modern lifes, the only one that has become utterly indispensable for me is the SatNav. Even though I can read a map and road signs, I have now become so dependent on this little piece of wizardry that I really wouldn’t want to go without. Driving to various different locations on behalf of clientco is so much easier, and indeed more profitable for me as no billable time or fuel is wasted. I could miss my mobile phone as there’s usually a land line phone somewhere. I could miss my laptop as there really are other things to do with life than piss around on CUK, and there are still shops that sell hard-copy porn. I don’t own a blackberry or an i-pod, so I won’t miss them, and indeed somehow I prefer listening to my old heavy metal albums on vinyl, especially now that I have a new amplifier, a decent turntable and good speakers.

If you were allowed only one gadget, what would it be? Oh, and you’re not allowed to choose a device with phone, satnav, computer, radio, mp3 etc all built in. It must be a single function device.

(This could be interpreted as a sales pitch for current client, but it isn't)
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

9mm Glock - an unmissable gadget.

              Purely for self-defence.
