    new to contracting

    Hi Everyone,

    I am 44 now with lots of experience in networking and have a CCIE. I have always wanted to start contracting but have never been brave enough. I am thinking of taking the plunge. Can you good people out there tell me if the market is looking better for contractors. I currently earn 75k and was wondering if it's worth taking the risk? Any help and advice will be much appreciated.
