Would snowy London be accessible by car tomorrow ?

I might take the Tube at Wimbledon , but prior that I need to travel the M3 and this looks like a madness considering the forecast for this night.. Thanks for the advice , I would have thought driving or tubing to Vauxhall would be equally hazardous. -
Bah.
A couple of years ago there was a snowy day complete with warnings of doom, and not to travel. I was commuting down the M40, M25 and A3 to get to North Hampshire and decided rather than losing a day's pay I was going to see what it was like and turn back if necessary.
What happened? I made it there 20 minutes quicker than usual thanks to the lack of traffic. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

before I have hadOf all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

In the South East it really depends where exactly you are going what the roads are like.
If you are going to Vauxhall get on the train, tube or bus. I reckon the bus would be quicker if it comes.

Do not drive in wet conditions, never mind icy/snowy with tyres like that. You risk death.Originally posted by newblood View PostThanks guys for all the "hope" . This just adds brilliantly to the fact that my front-tyres are complete rubbish - easily spun on wet not to mention snow. My back tyres are just on the legal tread limit.
But I can't walk out now - I am not a pussy.
I have winter tyres - just replaced as the old ones were on the legal limit. The difference is incredible. I plan in future to replace way before the legal limit.

It's those under 21 who I'm connected to on Facebook, and those who I'm related to under 14 insist on using text language in their emails."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
