Everyone wakes up and Patrick Duffy finishes his shower.
We don't have to save the world. The world is big enough to look after itself. What we have to be concerned about is whether or not the world we live in will be capable of sustaining us in it.

      Talking to my financial consultant

      He predicts:
      • that the effects of the recession will dissipate early next year.
      • House prices will rise dramatically
      • Manufacturing and export will increase dispte the meteoric rise in the strength of the pound.
      • Banks will increase lending at lower rates

Do you think he's a little demented?

Inflation a LOT higher. Food inflation maybe in triple digits.
Interest rates in the UK > 3%
        Sterling weaker.
        UK looses AAA
        Labour in power.
Public sector to be the majority employer in the UK
        Unemployment higher
        Crime and poverty wide spread.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Always say you don't know. The laws were changed recently to suspend a general election in case of National Emergency.
