Caught a clip where the health team were visiting a pair of brothers who lived alone. Their mother had died and since then, the house had become filthy - and I mean filthy. It was an absolute tip.
The brothers had psychological issues since their mother died which meant they had a fear of loss and now never threw anything away which included bodily excrements. The house was littered with bags/bottles of festering piss and poo. Just watching it made me want to wretch.
Felt sorry for them - this was the second time the health team had to gain a court order to clear their house as it posed a health hazard. The good thing was they were going to be taken into care this time.Comment

I had a similar problem in my BTL. Primarily caused when UPVC windows were fitted. when I lived there I vented the property well but tenants dont.
I contacted a company in Wales called Nuaire (http://tinyurl.com/ya979rb) They fitted one of their products and it solved the problem nicely.
PM me if you want more details.
