    It's a function of quantity.

Don't drink too much, don't puke green!

For me it's Southern Comfort and Special Brew in approx 50/50 proportions. 2 pints of that late on at a party when I was 17, the repercussions were dire.

I stopped feeling like I was fit for the morgue about 3 days later and probably should have had medical attention.

I still can't look at Southern Comfort without feeling bad almost 27 years later.

still can't look at rum and blackcurrent or gin and barleywine without heaving even though it's been 30 years since the fateful night.

8 pints of proper farm scumpy!
The claudy stuff with bits in.

Took me at least 15 years to try cider again!

Theakstons Old Peculier when I was 20.

I normally paced myself by the pint, but this came in those tiny plastic cups so I lost track of how much I'd had.

I haven't touched that stuff since.

I unfortunately cannot drink any form of Whisky. Just the smell makes me instantly heave (bad experience with Bells in my youth).

Shame as i hear lots of people rave about various types and feel i'm missing out.
