I drove there for a footy match last season. The footy ground is on the side of Swindon I come in from, so I didn't see much of the place. What did I miss?

PS There's a Don Rogers stand in the ground. Did the bloke who wrote it come from Swindon?

PPS Sorry, I'm thinking of Buck Rogers.

Are there any good restaurants in Swindon?

I mean, really good, not DP's local Harvester.

No, there are no good ones in Swindon. You need to travel a couple of miles to some of the surrounding small towns and villages such as Highworth, Brinkworth, Marlborough and Shrivenham etc.

Are those restaurants accompanied by suitable innes or luxurious lodgings appropriate to the discerning contractor?

Help me here, I'm still deciding what to vote.

Well, so would I if I hadn't finally found a gig, but Swindon's really pushing it.

You are a contractor - if push came to shove you'd work any-*******-where.

                      Well said.

When you are in the position where you NEED to work. Swindon isn't an issue.
