Has anyone here contracted at the BBC? Any tips on nearby parking/cost etc as I understand contractors are not allowed to park on site.

I have a possible opportunity there and have 2 choices if it comes off....

      1. Drive up M3/A316 into Sheperds Bush etc (not a bad journey but parking might be a mare)
      2. Train into Waterloo/Northern Line/Central Line - Door to door 2.5 hours with waiting at stations.

      Thanks
might be worthwhile staying over a couple of nights a week so you only make the journey once each day
      ie.
travel down monday morning, stay monday night
travel home tuesday night, stay at home tuesday night
travel wednesday morning stay wednesday night
      etc...
If you can be flexible on the working hours then start later the days you need to travel in the mornings

Mad choice. Interesting and crazy, but mad...!

Get off your train early at Clapham Junction and take a train to Shepherds Bush (rail station). 12 minutes. Job done.

I didn't say the Waterloo & City line was the best choice.... but was an alternative to the Misery line... but I must admit, your option is far better.

If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

Just pitch a tent in one of the studios. They will think you are part of tv program.

If you'll be based at White City, I suggest you find a quiet road to park in Greenford or Ruislip (or pay for all day station parking) and then get the central line to White City.

Does the BBC still have TV studios?
