Nope. sorry, keep the gun laws as they are.
    Works fine in France.

    Works fine in Germany.

    Works fine in Swissland.

Where else in EU guns are legal?

I thought gun laws in France are very tight. Most hand guns are strictly for target shooting and you can't carry conceled weapons. Fairly similar to the UK I think????

        Gun crime statistics

The murder rate here is a fifth of what it is in Switzerland, and less than a quarter of what it is in Germany. If it's all the same to you, we'll keep it that way thanks very much. Thankfully your idea of "works fine" doesn't match with what most people want.

But like I say, if you want to have a gun do feel free to go live in a country that allows you to have one. Might I suggest South Africa?

On the "Murders per capita", UK comes 46th. So we are not using other methods to kill one another.

On the "assults per capita", UK comes 8th. That rather suggests we would be killing one another rather than merely assaulting one another, if we had guns.

That is basically what happens in a more gun-toting society. You get a few more murders and assorted bullet-related injuries, and quite a bit less casual crime.
