I don't get that at all.
First of all, the market for my particular skills doesn't seem to move in sympathy with any other cycle i can recognise.

The down turn has not dealt me a massive blow, 15 quid a day less just now but inexperienced contractors selling their skills under does much more harm to the contractor industry that a downturn.
