If you believe in something that doesn't exist, then surely that calls into question your judgement. In this tough competitive business environment we don't need people who believe in omnipotent super beings. We need well-rounded people with few preconceived ideas who are grounded in reality and who can take responsibility for their own actions. We definitely don't need people who need a crutch to support their mental imbalance.

Thats where my argument falls to the ground John.

Nevertheless I have decide to launch my own legal suite for religious discrimination, last week I was given a verbal warning by HR for conducting animal sacrifices in the company car park.

I pointed out HR that this was a ritualistic part of my religious belief of Satinduism (c) and on the run up to Satrunalia, as part of my religious duty as a commited Satindusit, I have to perform an animal sacrifice every Thursday afternoon at noon whilst facing North.

This was condemned as being unprofessional conduct, however I did get off the hook by pointing out that this religious activity was performed during my lunch break.

But I think have a clear case of religious discrimination.

Six figure sum here I come.

If the roles had been reversed - there would have been an outcry. The phrases fatwa and jihad would be thrown around, and outrage wuld have been expressed at the discrimination of a minority etc etc, it would have been on the front pages, on the news and we would not hear the end of it. Instead what we get is gloating and mockery by the atheist tree huggers seems to me they have more in common with the jihadists than they care to admit.

If you continue in this manner I must inform you that we Satinduists will take all means available to preserve our sacred traditions.

We are looking for suitable candidate for our famous Wicker Man festival.

Are you perchance free next Thursday afternoon at Noon Chico ?

I think they'd let you do that one during worktime Alf - no point in spending your whole lunch hour trying to get the damp little squib to burn
