Just on the off chance...for anyone who has had or built a conservatory, did it include Pilkington low E or K glass as opposed to the standard strengthened type ? The co we want to go with recommend the latter, the consensus however seems to be the former ?

Mine has standard glass. It's like an oven in summer and freezing in winter. Next door's has some smart alec glass (not sure what) and it's much better. -
Why not just move to a warmer country with less rain and save a packet??

Low E glass is more expensive than standard glass upfront, but you'll save a boatload on cooling the conservatory during summer months and heating during winter. Pay now or pay later.......Comment
