No, that is not proof nor did I say it was. I am not going to go through the background of each MP to proof a point as that would take me all week. As I stated, Google a few, Wiki is a good start. Then follow through to their interest groups.

PS you obviously have not read anything from Churchill or know about his life.

Read the Roy Jenkins biography, thought it was rather good. Clearly irony isn't a strong point Paddy.

Mandelson is a 3rd rate, corrupt, control-freak politician with no skills apart from his talent for intrigue.

So now you understand why Britain is rapidly turning into a 3rd rate country - our journalists, politicians and business-people (bankers, Alan Sugar FFS) are all crap.

Well he's not welcome around these parts...

While test-driving a pick-up truck, Clarkson decided to assess its strength by driving it into a 30-year-old chestnut tree in the car park of a church in Churchill, Somerset.

Parish Council members noticed the damage but only realised it was the work of Clarkson the following year when a parishioner saw the Top Gear episode in which he rammed the truck into the tree.

The church approached the BBC, who admitted Clarkson was responsible and paid £250 compensation.

Pile of dribbling crap, Britain has always been a mongrel nation.

You saying the average brit is too stupid to realise pretty much knocks your argument out the water about the immigrants being a problem.

And yes, I am of German and Irish extraction and really don't have any desire to undermine the British state. With my degrees and top percentile wage I think the country should be happy to have let my Grandparents in.

There seems to be some confusion here that we can either only have unlimited and unchecked immigration or no immigration whatsoever.

How about immigration with carefully set limits, tough barriers to entry based on qualifications, previous work experience, english speaking, background and criminality checks, references, full medical to ensure health and age limits?

Sort of like the rest of the world (Oz, Nz, USA, Canada, etc) does really?

The UK and the EU already have extremely strict criteria for immigration from outside the EU. It seems the only result is that we have a lot of undocumented (illegal) immigration, but of course nobody knows how much by definition of the immigration being illegal; illegal immigrants don't turn up at the official authorities asking for NI numbers and so we don´t have a clue how many of them there are.
