Murphy's Mob. Arguably the best theme tune of any kid's programme ever.

What was that one called about a guy who gets shipwrecked? Series was crap/dubbed but I liked the theme-tune/song.

Btw, the "White Horses" theme by "Jackie" was great too.

Hmm... No-one's mentioned The Tripods yet.

        Very scary at the time.

Flash Gordon seemed to be aired quite a lot in the late 70s, the one from the 50s. I completely loved that program, 6 o'clock every night on BBC2 I think.

Someone mentioned the Prisoner earlier. I think we've discussed this before, but I thought it was great until the last two episodes, which I thought were largely incoherent tripe. Later I found out they were written in a hurry to end the series because ATV suddenly decided to pull the plug. IIRC even Lew Grade said he didn't understand them.

Pretty sure nobody's mentioned "The Tomorrow People" yet.

I seem to remember he was a "Huron" and inflicted the "death of a thousand knives" on one of the Mohicans. But that was 30 years ago so I may be mistaken . . . .
