Doesn't matter, does it? The point is that 1 says nothing, so 2 and 3 aren't the same colour. Thus 2 knows he is different to 3.

If 1 says nothing, 2 deduces 1 can see headphones of both colours. 2 sees 3 has red headphones, so concludes his is the opposite colour, and correctly shouts 'blue'.
