Correct. I had a firmly locked bedroom door and many stains on the ceiling...........

....the result of mixing a little bit of this a little bit of that from the chemistry set and shoving 1000 volts through the mixture.

    It's a wonder I'm still alive.

Actually I had other HAMies in the area rigged up our CB radios... we once made our own RTTY modem via the CB - that was so cool.

      The girls were so impressed.

sounds like a good reason. like sound of your bus app, I've been using a gps app called Trails which is useful although phone not robust enough to make it a Garmin replacement.

The trainline.com app is worth a mention me thinks...

way better than the website version. It's finds the station nearest the phone as your departure point, quite cool.

Yeah, I got one of those. Even works in the car!

The only time I need to use it was when I was stuck on country station that had a busted ticket machine, no timetables or staff. After I put the info into the website it came up with “server error; information can not be displayed”. However in Prague a similar system works well showing the nearest tram or metro stop with times.

I'm not going touch my beloved iPhone - despite sometimes patchy O2 3G coverage.

You're a brave chap, scooter. Then again, it seems that regardless of what Apple do, the Dev-Team (or others) always seem to follow up with a hack.
