The only time I need to use it was when I was stuck on country station that had a busted ticket machine, no timetables or staff. After I put the info into the website it came up with “server error; information can not be displayed”. However in Prague a similar system works well showing the nearest tram or metro stop with times.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThe trainline.com app is worth a mention me thinks...
way better than the website version. It's finds the station nearest the phone as your departure point, quite cool.

Even works in the car!Originally posted by scooterscot View PostHave installed this little app that shows the location of the buses here in town and the number of minutes I have to drag myself outside down to the bottom of the street thereby minimising the number of minutes standing around in the cold - wow

Vodafone have been around since the dark ages, there's very few spots around the wilderness where I can not get a signal.
sounds like a good reason. like sound of your bus app, I've been using a gps app called Trails which is useful although phone not robust enough to make it a Garmin replacement.

....the result of mixing a little bit of this a little bit of that from the chemistry set and shoving 1000 volts through the mixture.
