Best Book youve read this Year ...

I would nominate The Cutting Room by Louise Welsch.

An amazing crime novel set in Glasgow, considering its her first book, altough Louise Welsch is from Glasgow she is not related to Irvine !

Though not the best book, certainly a good read is "Outside In" by Clark Nicol. It can not be purchased in the shops, but you can get it from amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...499419-0556624 here for a very reasonable 13.95 of your British pounds.

Clark is a colleague of mine.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Stasiland by Anna Freund (?). Excellent description of life in the GDR.

PS Milan, if you have to read a book about being an entrepreneur, then you are most certainly not one. Forget Plan B.

                    sasguru,

that is where you are wrong...

"PS Milan, if you have to read a book about being an entrepreneur, then you are most certainly not one. Forget Plan B.",

if you think you already know everything and there is nothing more you can learn you will almost certainly fail with your plan b

if you have a plan b, and read such a book and it inspires you to consider things you have not already considered then you have learn't something

if you read such a book and learn nothing new, it confrims you already have the right skills and are moving in the right direction

                    Milan.
