Mrs Scooter and I stayed there a few months back, amazing.

Don't take my word for it though... look it up on trip advisor.

Have never been to Scotland; would love to go sometime though. So far, I regret to say, the closest I've got is Shrewsbury lol!

I dont want to stay in a shed, I want to stay in an idyllic cosy place surrounded by great views. We've just got back from a relaxing 2 weeks of 39C in Oman including a few days in a spa and have decided that we want to spend this new year in Edinburgh mainly as I've been before and loved it and she's never been. As we have a few days free afterwards we thought a short trip to the lower scottish highlands would be nice.

If the weather is as you say going to be dark, rainy and miserable that's when a log fire, some good food and wine and the fact that the passion in our relationship has not been lost or soured somewhere on a swindon roundabout comes into play and I'm sure we can think of ways to occupy ourselves

I used to live on a Island off the west coast of Scotland, you would spend 30 minutes walking to the shops in the morning...

"You got the Glasgow Herald?"

"Sorry the ferry never had the papers, they are coming on the 11:20, we should have them by lunch time"

"Can I have toffee crisp then"

"We just have mars bars and wispas, the next delivery from our suppliers is in March"
