I have heard that they sometimes go round the same hiouses they stole from asking if anyone wants to by a bin.Originally posted by ctdctd View PostIn sunny Dunstable, there have been some reports of black bins being stolen.
The Chavs can, presumably, buy an extra black bin for a few squid down the pub and then have two to put out for the fortnightly collection.

Its worth marking your bins with house number/road.Comment

Think you'll find you need a license to collect waste ie you need to give the householder a proper 'refuse collection' ticket which the council can demand to see to prove waste isnt being fly tipped and secondly, you need a license to take the waste to the relevant collection disposal site.
Thats going to cost tens if not a hundred thousand quid.
Youll also have trouble getting money off people. How many people will be in the homes at time of collection to hand over the fee? Not many. Do it after hours? Going to be expensive as whoever collects is going to want unsocial hours payments.
DD? The bastards would pull the DD after a few collections.
Sorry to piss on yer chips but I think its a non runner.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Didn't they significantly up the price of using land fill sites some years ago? It's why the cost of renting a skip shot up, if I remember correctly.Originally posted by milanbenes View Postno no
you don't need a license to process waste, you're only gonna collect it and take it to the waste processor and pay them to process it and you charge a fee for each binBehold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment
