CostCo used to do a good tikka, but I haven't been ther in years.
The Tesco take away range they tried flogging for £4.99 is now £2.50 in my local, has been for months. M&S is still my favourite followed by Sainsbury's both fine IMO.

They must be doing something better than the restaurants as I’m never ill after a supermarket curry which beats the 50/50 rate I get when I go out for one... I do wash the spoon after I've used it mind.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I had a cheese and ham omelette. And I had to wash up myself...

My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

          The non-curry curry house choice

you can get a nice non 'gravy' curry almost any curry house.

          papodums
Chicken tikka - grilled spicy chicken
          bombay potato - spicy potatoes
          pilau rice

tasty, dry, no bright red 'gravy'

and if you go to Lahore in the east end or Hendon - spicy lamb chops oooof.

Mother India in Glasgow is also very, very good

I believe it is common to think that if there is asian people eating in the place then its worth every penny - if its full of rowdy fat lads, think twice.

I'm fully aware of the meme. We need an irony smiley...

Tandoori mixed grill & Sag (or Brinjal) Bhaji would be my choices.

Maybe if we'd colonised mexico instead of India, wherever you now see a curry house there would be a Cantina. Mmm, mole poblano anyone?
