Nope SG came on after 70 mins.

The country has nothing to do with Liverpool's problems, and should always come first for players.

I'm not a Liverpool fan but I agree to some extent.

However, without Gerrard I doubt they'd have achieved any of that. The late equaliser against West Ham in the final, the injury-time winner against Olympiakos in the last game that got them out of their group, the first goal against Milan, and many other less well-known incidents when all looked lost. It is always him to the rescue.

Good though Torres is, Liverpool wholly depend on Gerrard to keep them up in the Big Four. I wish he could do the same for England, but he doesn't, presumably because he's too knackered.

Either way - he played and a 2-1 win via an own goal which was totally self inflicted is not a drubbing!
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!

As a football fan, what a final. As an Irons fan, gutted.

I do. I was born in South London and my team even followed me to Buckinghamshire.
