I caught a very brief discussion on the radio yesterday concerning the anglican church's potential schism caused by the turning away from biblical teaching on ordination of homosexuality in the western church.
What's your opinion on this potential split?
Do you think that the newer churches (Nigeria, most of the African churches) are being old-fashioned about this issue (i.e. stone the faggots to death), or is the established church (western) correct (yes we think that biologically-perverted people should be able to preach the word).
As an aside, and I though this was laugh-out-loud funny, the stance of one of the western churches (can't remember which) was that priests could have same-sex relationships provided there was no sexual expression of that relationship!!! So how can you be homosexual/heterosexual without having sex?
