                    Wow! Can I quote them on my CV?

                    So many books have impressed or been a "thoroughly good read" but I will go with "Timescape" by Gregory Benford in the the science fiction category.

                    And, dare I say it, "Lord of the Rings".

                    Otherwise anything by John Le Carre.
